Booking & Payment

* All bookings require a full payment before the session starts.

Refunds & Cancellations

* Cancel 7 days before your session for a full refund.
* Cancel 48 hours to 7 days before for a 50% refund or free reschedule.
* Cancel 24 to 48 hours before for a reschedule with a 50% booking fee.
* No refund or reschedule for cancellations within 24 hours of the session.

Permitted Use & Studio Policies

* The studio is for photography, video production, and creative projects only.
* No Alcohol Policy:
* Consumption, possession, or distribution of alcohol on studio premises is strictly prohibited unless expressly agreed in writing as part of a rental package.
* Approved cases must be managed responsibly to prevent disorderly conduct.
* No paint is allowed. Violations may result in eviction without a refund.
* Respect the studio as a professional environment.

Conduct & Safety

* No anti-social behavior, harassment, or illegal activities.
* Children under 18 must be supervised at all times.
* No fire or smoke effects allowed on the premises.

Damage & Liability

* You are responsible for any damage or loss to the studio or equipment during your session.
* Report any damage immediately. You will be charged for repairs or replacements.
* Studio Monox is not liable for your personal property or equipment.

Insurance

* We recommend you have your own insurance for personal property and third-party liabilities.

Termination

* Studio Monox reserves the right to terminate this Agreement immediately, without notice or refund, if you breach these Terms and Conditions or engage in prohibited behavior.
* Upon termination, vacate the premises immediately and return all keys, passes, or items provided.
* Termination does not affect any other rights or remedies of Studio Monox under this Agreement or applicable law.

Overtime

* Arrive and leave within your booked time. Overtime is charged at £45 and £60 for extended hours after 8 pm.

Cleaning Fee

* Leave the studio as you found it. Excessive mess will incur a cleaning fee starting at £50.

Animals

* Animals are allowed with prior written consent and a £50 cleaning fee.

Notices

* All communications should be in writing and sent to the contact details provided in your booking confirmation.

FAQs

Is there a parking?

We don’t have on-site parking, but there is street parking available nearby.

Do you have other Colorama backdrops available?

Yes! We have a wide range of Colorama paper rolls. Feel free to get in touch ahead of your booking to check availability or request specific colours.

Is there a lift?

A lift is coming soon. At the moment, please note access involves stairs.

Do you offer refreshments?

We have a bar downstairs serving coffee and other refreshments.

Can I arrive early to set up?

Your booking time includes setup and breakdown. You're welcome to arrive slightly early and wait in our reception area, but studio access begins at your booked time.

What happens if I run over my booked time?

Overtime is subject to availability and is charged at £45 per hour, or £60 per hour after 8pm. Please speak to a staff member before your session ends to arrange this.

What if I arrive late?

Your booking time starts from your scheduled time, regardless of arrival. If the studio is available after your slot, you may be able to extend your time for an additional charge.

Is lighting equipment included in the hire?

Basic lighting is included in the hire fee. For a full list of available equipment or to request additional kit, please get in touch in advance.

Do I need insurance?

We highly recommend that photographers and production teams have their own public liability and equipment insurance. Our studio insurance does not cover third-party damages or personal equipment.

Can I cancel or reschedule my session?

Yes. Our cancellation policy is: * Cancel at least 7 days in advance for a full refund. * Cancel 48 hours to 7 days in advance for a 50% refund or free reschedule. * Cancel 24 to 48 hours before your booking to reschedule with a 50% rebooking fee. * Cancellations made within 24 hours are non-refundable and not eligible for rescheduling.

Can I bring animals or children into the studio?

Children under 18 are welcome but must be supervised at all times. Animals are allowed only with prior written consent and may incur a £50 cleaning fee.

Is the studio wheelchair accessible?

Currently, our space is not fully wheelchair accessible, but we’re working toward improvements. Please contact us to discuss access needs.

Can I bring my own equipment?

Yes, you’re welcome to bring your own gear. Please handle all equipment with care, and note that any damage to the space or equipment may incur a charge.

Can I store things overnight or before my shoot?

We do not currently offer storage before or after bookings. For large productions, contact us in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Can you help us find a photographer, makeup artist, hairstylist, or stylist for our shoot?

Yes! We have a trusted roster of freelance photographers, makeup artists, hairstylists, and stylists we regularly work with. If you need help assembling a team for your shoot, just let us know your requirements.
